Cleaner Cones
The cleaner used in the paper industry is mainly divided into high concentration cleaner, low concentration cleaner, heavy slag cleaner, and light slag cleaner.
High-concentration cleaner: the pulp concentration is about 4.5%~5.5%, used to remove large and heavy masses (aluminum iron cans, iron plates, stones, glass, etc.).
Low-concentration cleaner: the pulp concentration of around 1%, used to discharge fine sand, often used in the paper making flow system. It is used to treat the slag slurry after coarse sieving, with a concentration of about 2.0%. The processed good pulp is sent to the classification screen for long and short fiber classification.
Light slag cleaners, compared with heavy slag cleaners, cover a wider range and are mainly used for slagging in the post pulping stage or paper-making flow-feeding slagging.
Working principle:
Separate waste impurities from fibers by centrifugal force.
When the pulp enters the top of the slag remover from the tangential direction, the slurry flow produces a vortex movement, which accelerates downward along the cone of the slag remover in a spiral shape. The movement of the vortex generates centrifugal force, which causes the impurities heavier than water to move to the inner wall of the slag remover, while those with a relative density less than water move to the core of the vortex.
