Doctor Blades Description
Doctor Blade is used in all parts of the paper machine and board machine to remove excess pollutants, chemical accumulation, paper dust, etc. on the surface of the roll or cylinder, and prevent the paper from wrapping around the roll or cylinder. Doctor blades are also used to remove paper from the roll surface during paper breaks or during paper threading. Doctor blades must be inspected and cleaned regularly to ensure their continued, safe, and efficient operation. As machine widths and speeds increase, doctor blades play an increasingly important role in cleaning roll surfaces and guiding paper during machine operation.
